She has recieved her training from two prestigious institutions of this region. She did her graduation and post graduate diploma in Gynae & Obstetrics at CMC Ludhiana and MD in Obstetrics & Gynae at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh. She thereafter worked in Mission Hospital Ferozepur before starting Obstetrics & Gynae and Nursing Home as part of Hope Clinics. Since then she has worked tirelessly to provide expert professional services to her patients. She recieved her training in gynaecological endoscopy at Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital Bombay in 1998 under aegis of The Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists of which she is now a senior member. Besides Obstetrics, laproscopic hysterectomy, non descent hysterectomy, laproscopic ovarian surgery and hysteroscopy is routinely being done by her for past many years. Infertility workup and treatment is also routinely done here. She has delivered by normal delivery a 5.4 kg baby which was a record of sorts in the country. She is a great proponent of exercise and diet during pregnancy and was among the first gynaecologists to start antenatal classes for pregnant women. With dedication and professionalism she has established herself as one of the leading obstetrician & gynaecologist of the region. She is recepient of Dr Kanak Goel Award for the year 2004-2005 in recognition of her commendable work at 80th All India Medical Conference held at Chennai. She has organized local and regional conferences and does a lot of charitable work at various camps organised by various social organizations.
